This week's interview is with Brianne, a member of the business team.

How many years have you been with EDJE? 2 years on September 29, 2010

How did you learn about EDJE? A high school friend that lives in Indianola. I also came for a job shadow during my college years.

What is your favorite thing about working at EDJE? I am still the youngest around here :o)  I love the people and being creative every day. We try to keep things interesting around here.

What is your favorite website(s)?  I am in love with etsy.com and facebook.com.

Tell me a little about yourself: I grew up in Altoona, Ia. I moved to Indianola out of college when I started my first design job. I then started at EDJE in September 2008 and got married on November 8, 2008.  My husband and I bought a new house in May 2009 and our daughter, Ava Grace, was born on March 17, 2010. As you can tell I have been very busy!

Do you have any hobbies/interests? I love spending time with my husband, daughter, and our two furry friends (Boxer and Gator). I enjoy photography/design in my spare time. I am obsessed with HGTV and finding creative ways to keep redesigning the inside and outside of our new house. I also love shopping for my baby girl.

Tlach said selecting the award recipients this year was particularly difficult.

“As our company continues to grow, we have been fortunate to hire some very talented people,” he said. “That makes these selections even more difficult. The team award is new this year and I like it because we ask our people to work in teams, which are able to better serve our customers. The print team is especially strong at providing outstanding customer support.”

Several local leaders joined EDJE employees for lunch: Ken Bresnan, Indianola mayor, Amy Duncan, Indianola Development Association board member, and Doug Shull, Warren County supervisor. Darcy Johnson from Wells Fargo Bank in Indianola and Arlen Schrum of Shull and Company in Indianola also had lunch.

Tell me a little about yourself: Married, daughter in high school.  My wife works at the college in town.  Coach daughter’s traveling softball team(s) and referee soccer and basketball the rest of the time.

What is your favorite thing about working at EDJE? I get to be creative

Tell me a little about yourself: My husband, Dan and I have 3 children – 2 boys Keagan & Kaden and 1 girl – Kaia. The kids keep us very busy playing and laughing. I’m not Betty Crocker but I can make awesome Lasagna! And any spare time that I might have I’m usually trying to figure out a new ways to be creative.

Do you have any hobbies/interests? Love crafting and doing things with my children.
