 Russell Livestock Market just underwent a redesign and in Jana's words "I really like the layout & colors! It looks like our own site!" The majority of the site opperates the same as before with a few new and improved additions to their schedule.
Russell Livestock Market, located on US Hwy 34 in South Central Iowa is a full service Market, handling consignments from the Southern Iowa & Northern Missouri area.
RLM has the capacity to hold over 5,000 head (feed & water available to all stock), and selling between 65,000 to 70,000 head annually.
Monday is the regular sale day with weigh cows starting at 9:00 am and feeder cattle starting at 11:00 am SHARP. Special Bred Cow Sales are held on Saturdays throughout the winter months, and a Horse & Pony Sale held in March of each year.
Over at Aunt Jacks Café, (which is open every sale day) are delicious meals & fresh homemade pies.
