What is a mobile website? |

How is it different from a regular website?
Mobile websites are specifically designed for viewing on mobile devices. Until recently websites were meant to be seen on a computer that has a large screen for viewing, more power & internet speed. But mobile devices in general have smaller screens & are far less powerful than a computer with a much slower internet connection. You can tailor a mobile site to deliver information quickly to your mobile customers. With the trend of mobile phones there has been an increased need for websites to be specially created for mobile devices. Let EDJE help you create your own mobile website to supply much easier viewing on the go! Indianola Hosting Overnight Stay for RAGBRAI |

EDJE's home town of Indianola, IA will be hosting an overnight stay for RAGBRAI XXXVll. For those of you that aren't familiar with egister's nnual reat icycleide cross owa.
On July 21st Indianola will host an overnight stay for the 37th annual RAGBRAI event. This has been a long time coming as one of the most famous RAGBRAI riders is Indianola's own Clarence Pickard. The first great six-day bicycle ride across Iowa was held in 1973. Among the many interesting people the ride attracted was Clarence Pickard of Indianola. This 83-year-old gentleman, who hadn't ridden a bicycle much in the years before, showed up for that first ride with a used ladies' Schwinn. He rode all the way to Davenport, which included a 100 degree plus day from Des Moines to Williamsburg, a 110- mile trek. Pickard's attire for the ride was a long-sleeved shirt, trousers, woolen long underwear and a silver pith helmet. Articles from Des Moines Register columnist's, Kaul and Karras, about Pickard and other points of interest along the way were responsible for the growth of the ride. Mr. Pickard passed away in the winter of 1982. Although he had only ridden in one complete RAGBRAI the first year of the ride and on just one day the following year, he had become a legend. The 1983 event, RAGBRAI XI, was named the “Clarence Pickard Memorial Ride” in his memory, and the commemorative patch the Register designed that year was similar to the shape of the helmet he wore. Indianola's Pickard Park is named after this legendary rider. EDJE has been working hard to get everything in order to help riders and local communities find out all the details for the ride and what better way to do it than with a website, www.indianolaragbrai.com. The website also offers web advertising for biker friendly businesses, click here to learn more. The RAGBRAI committee predicts over 10,000 viewers to this website! |

Consistency or “branding” is key to both effectiveness and return-on-investment in any advertising campaign.
Ingredients for a successful advertising campaign: - focus
- flexibility
- consistency
What happens if you don’t have consistency with your business brand, advertising and marketing? - You lose credibility
- You appear undecided and confused to prospects
- Prospects think you can’t make your mind up, look unstable
- You look like you haven’t been in business very long
EDJE Technologies makes branding your company easy! Let us handle all your needs to showcase your characteristics such as your logo, website, brochure, business cards, email blast, banner ad, etc. that are associated with your company. Carlos Is Moving on to Colorado |

This is true. I am. I am moving to Colorado to continue my education, get my Masters of Fine Arts, maybe some communications and dabel a little bit in some foreign languages. Also to join my beautiful girlfriend as she becomes a pediatric nurse, enjoy the beauty of nature and continue to see what life has in store for me. The mountains, the fresh air and of course snowboarding and camping in the midst and awe of the mountains. Someplace where an artist's mind and nature lover can wonder and grow. I love the web design and will continue to pursue this, but I also love a balance of nature and the world around. It is bittersweet for me. I get to move to a beautiful place and grow, but have to leave a great company. I have gotten to know my cattle teammates, fellow employees and have had a great chance to meet and talk to the great customers of EDJE. We have had some fun times. I would like to thank everyone who I have had the chance to meet both at EDJE and the customers of EDJE. EDJE is a great company and continues to strive and excel on the cutting "edje" of design and technology.
Thank you to all for the experience and the best of luck in your futures.

I was just thinking we should start a conversation about what web designers are like. Lets see how long we can get the list. Come up with practical or off the wall responses to the question: Web Designers Are Like... Toothbrushes, because everyone needs one |
